Registered
Brangus is a 3/8 Brahman X 5/8 Angus percentage cross supposedly.
The cattle may exhibit dominant characteristics of either breed. A
consistent uniform calf crop is hard to achieve within any
Registered Brangus herd. Brangus cattle adapt to many habitats
and cross well with many other breeds.

Ultra Black
cattle, Just A Better Brangus, is a registered Angus bred to a
registered Brangus which results in a 3/16 Brahman, 13/16 Angus
percentage cross. These cattle are generally more moderate in size
than a traditional Brangus. Their calves are more uniform and their
fleshing ability is generally better. The 3/16 Brahman blood also
makes for a heat resistant animal that can survive and breed in all
climates. The females mature early and the bulls are very fertile.
